REVEALED: How Ordering of Eating Food Lowers Blood Sugar
Are you diabetic or has diabetic parents? Do you know that simply planning your order of eating can assist in lowering your blood sugar a great deal? A new study published in the journal Diabetes Care has disclosed how the order you eat your food affects your health.
Findings from the research showed that eating protein and vegetables BEFORE carbs makes you fuller for longer and could help diabetics control their blood sugar.
It seems somewhat funny to me, but the scientists explained that rather than munching ordinary 'Agege bread' which can spike dangerously, you can start the meal with some quantity of vegetables, then add some skinless grilled chicken, thereafter you can eat your white rice or white bread.
Eating this way, keeps you fuller than if you eat the same foods in the reverse order.
This is because protein slows down the release of sugar from carbohydrates into the blood stream, preventing a sugar 'high' and then crash - and hunger pangs.
Hope you got the gist? Try it and lets know how it works?
