Following the chaotic situation that heralded the swearing-in of the new Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Williams Kumuyi, has counseled him to rule the state with Godly influence.
The Cleric's recommendation, as reported in the Daily Times, was contained in a letter to the Governor, which was presented during the Thanksgiving Church Service, held at one of the Deeper Life Churches in the state, at the weekend.
Represented by the Church's Secretary, Pastor Jeremiah Asemota, the GS advised Fayose to imbibe the timeless tenets of integrity, openness, transparency and prudence in the discharge of his official duties.
He emphasized that leadership, whether temporal or spiritual, was Divine with attached responsibilities.
Fayose, speaking at the occasion during what was tagged "Testimony session", vowed to resist attempts by sycophants to tele-guide him regarding the management of the affairs of the state.
