The
Lagos State Police Command has called the attention of residents to these dark
spots within the metropolis, where bad boys have been carrying out their barbaric
acts.
Some
of the dark spots are on Mile 2-Badagry Expressway and Super bus stop on
Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, where gang robbery and other violent crimes have
become the order of the day. Five start bus stop, Apogbon under bridge, Lagos
and Osborne road, leading to Ikoyi.
Other
abandoned dark spots are on Igando road, Anthony-Gbagada-UPS axis, Car Wash bus
stop, and Oworonsoki of the Gbagada- Oshodi express way, Fadeyi bus stop and
Obanikoro area along Ikorodu road, Pedestrians are usually scared at night of
under Liver pool Bridge and Creek road in Apapa.
In
Ikeja, Billingsway and the road to the Governor’s Office from Seven Up Bottling
Company and dreaded spots, especially for workers who close late.
In
Lekki axis, Ajah bus stop has consistently remained a dark spot, where hoodlums
and other criminals hang around unhindered.
