Civil Servants in Lagos to Work on Saturdays
Starting from May 3, some civil servants in Lagos State will now work on Saturdays. According to The Nation newspaper,
Governor Babatunde Fashola, said that the workers in the ministries of
Transport, Land Bureau and Physical Planning and Urban Development will
resume work at 10 a.m and close by 2 p.m. Fashola who made this known
during an event to render account of his stewardship in the state in the
past 2,100 days in office, announced that the decision to commence the
pilot service was informed by some people’s desire to access such
services, if they are made available on Saturdays.
