Two toddlers aged three years old have been kidnapped from the Ketu area of Lagos state. The two youngsters, Toheeb Adedokun and Falilu Tajudeen were playing in their compound; No 18 Taike street Ketu on Friday and after a while were declared missing. Search missions carried out in the area have proved abortive as the two boys are yet to be found.
The parents of the two boys have reported the case to the police even though there has been no major breakthrough in the case. According to the parents, a woman selling alcohol said she saw the two children earlier in the day. She introduced them to a man who promised to get the kids to them by 1:00am but has not been forthcoming since then.
The police force in the area said that they are yet to make a breakthrough in the case as the only suspect they had, a young woman had been released. According to PUNCH newspapers, there was also a kidnap attempt earlier in the week. Five year old Dayo Olubajo escaped the hands of a kidnapper and a suspect was caught, the man who promised to return the kids to their parents is still in police custody.
