The story of the little Colombian girl, Magali Gonzalez Sierra, whom the doctors have said will not live more than 13 years, but became 15 this month, is a very pathetic one.Magali, like her contemporaries loves dancing, music, glitter, pink and make-up, but her 90-year-old body wouldnt allow her do same.Although doctors have predicted that she would die by 13 years of age, but she surpassed their expectations, to become 15 this year, thus she requested her mother, Sofia, to throw a party for her. According to DailyMail, Magali is suffering from a condition called, Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome, a fatal genetic condition characterized by an appearance of accelerated ageing in children..

While there are different forms of progeria, the classic type is Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome, which was named after English doctors Dr Jonathan Hutchinson and Dr Hastings Gilford who first described it in 1886 and 1897 respectively.
