According to Nigerian Tribune newspaper, the Deputy Spokeperson of the Federal House of Representatives, Victor Ogene, has confirmed that the Speaker of the House, Hon. Aminu Tambuwal, will contest the 2015, even as speculations are rife that the Speaker is gunning for the number one job in the land. Ogene stated that former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida, has asked Tambuwal to contest for higher office, considering his track record in handling affairs of the seventh session of the House which he presided over in the last two years.
