Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola, Sunday, instructed the displaced auto part traders at the closed Ladipo market in the Mushin area of the state, to clean up the market before it could be re-opened. According to channelstv.com, Fashola who disclosed this while on an inspection tour of the market lamented the environmental degradation caused by trading taking place on the road and at the edge of the canal at the market. The governor then vowed vowed not to re-open the market until for business once the traders spearhead a clean-up exercise and formally undertake that never again would trading take place on the road or the edges of the canal.
