According to a Yoruba adage which says "the glory of the latter palace shall be greater than the former", the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi has promised to rebuild the Alaafin of Oyo's palace which caught fire yesterday.
The Governor who visited the Palace yesterday (same day of the fire incident) told the Oba that it was his responsibility to re-build the palace. He also commended him for a job well done, because no one died in the fire out break.
