Kogi Auto Crash : Seriously Injured Governor Moved out of State Capital

Latest Reports from Lokoja said Governor Idris Wada who was seriously injured in an auto crash yesterday has been moved out of a specialist hospital in the state capital

He was moved to Obajana outside Lokoja.Obajana hosts Dangote’s Cement Company.It is not clear if there is a medical facility there.Reports said Wada may be flown by helicopter to a yet to be disclosed destination for better treatment.
An unofficial source had told us earlier that Wada was “in coma”.Jacob Edi,the governor’s media assistant could not be reached by phone.

The governor’s ADC, Idris Mohammed reportedly died instantly in the crash.
When Taraba State Governor Danbaba Suntai sustained injuries in a plane crash, he was moved to Abuja National Hospital from where he was later flown to Germany.
No official details have emerged about Wada’s next destination at the time of writing this report.
