Residents of Ogba area in Lagos state have described an initiative of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM, to shut down bars in the vicinity through an evangelism programme as a welcome development.
Addressing press men in Lagos, the pastor of the branch, Pastor Aderemi Oseni said
“We want to close down beer parlours in Ogba environment. We want to convert beer parlours into our praying centres".
Oseni said crime had skyrocketed in Nigeria and MFM was ready to assist the government in reducing it in Ogba area.
